Student Guidelines
To ensure a respectful and productive training environment, please adhere to the following guidelines:

-
RSVP: When notified of class times, please RSVP as promptly as possible, whether you are coming or not.
-
Lateness: If you know you'll be late, pick a time you CAN arrive, and commit to that. Being reliable is a virtue.
-
Bonus Training: The dojo is open 30 minutes before and after class, so you can ask questions and get extra training.
-
Be Prepared: All students should be fully prepared for class — another reason to arrive early!
-
Etiquette: Bow when entering or exiting the dojo, greeting black belts, or working with partners. Use black belt titles properly.
-
Focus: Pay attention during class and refrain from talking out of turn. Focus on the instruction, and do not distract others.
-
No Gum or Food: Do not chew gum or eat food in the dojo. Only water is permitted.
-
Respect for Equipment: Do not touch the mirrors, weapons, or any equipment unless instructed.
